Deekshitha’s Wedding

Deekshitha’s Wedding

Bridal wardrobe · Reception, Sangeet, puja and Pellikuturu looks · Seven blouse designs and restorations · Hand embroidery

I feel truly grateful to have had her as part of my wedding journey. 🤍

From my wedding blouse to my Sangeet, cocktail, puja and Pellikuturu outfits, every single piece was designed and stitched with so much care and perfection. She has a beautiful sense of design—each blouse was unique, elegant and exactly how I had envisioned it.

What touched me most was her kindness and dedication. She personally came all the way to deliver my bridal dupatta and even accepted last-minute requests, always prioritising my needs without hesitation.

She is extremely patient, responsive and such a pleasure to work with. Even after my wedding, I continue to go back to her for all my festive blouses.

I have the utmost respect and appreciation for her work—truly grateful. ❤️

The Client’s Need

Deekshitha first came to Shubhakrit through a referral from a friend who had previously ordered from us. She initially approached us for her cocktail and reception outfit, bringing inspiration photographs and a clear idea of the look she wanted.

After seeing the finished outfit, its fit and the attention given to every detail, she felt confident entrusting us with a much larger part of her wedding wardrobe. Several blouses previously made elsewhere for her main wedding ceremonies had not turned out as expected. The designs, embroidery and overall finish did not reflect the references she had shared or the vision she had spent months planning.

With approximately seven blouses requiring either extensive refinement or complete recreation, Deekshitha needed a team capable of handling intricate hand embroidery while preserving the individuality of every event look. She arrived with a collection of Pinterest references, but ultimately trusted us to interpret them and make significant design decisions on her behalf.

The Shubhakrit Plan

We began by sourcing the material Deekshitha had envisioned for her cocktail and reception look. Using her inspiration photographs as a starting point, we developed the silhouette, blouse and finishing details around her preferences. Once she was happy with the fit and final appearance, we moved forward with the remaining wedding pieces.

Each of the seven blouses was assessed individually. Some required careful reworking, while others needed to be redesigned and created entirely from scratch. We reviewed the purpose of every outfit, refined the design direction and identified where embroidery would create the strongest visual impact—particularly for her main wedding puja blouse.

Rather than directly replicating one reference image, we combined elements from Deekshitha’s inspirations with Shubhakrit’s own design perspective. This allowed every blouse to feel connected to her vision while remaining original and suited to its specific ceremony.

The final wardrobe included distinct looks for her wedding, Sangeet, cocktail, puja and Pellikuturu celebrations, each finished with the level of detail and handwork the occasion called for. The experience developed into a lasting relationship, and Deekshitha continues to return to Shubhakrit for her festive blouses and special-occasion designs.
